Movie vs. Story
The story is much more detail oriented than the movie. The movie left me confused and searching for the plot as aposed to noticing the minute details as to brands and guns and such. Also, stories show such a different view because they show the thoughts inside of Johnny's head as aposed to the view shown by the movie. Also, the scenery in the movie was all very similar. Therefore, the story is better because it is easier to differentiate what is going on and who is where. On camera, they show that the scene changes but it is hard to realize the differences visually.
Another major difference is how the dolphin scene unfolds. His name is first referred to as squid in the story and Jones in the movie. Johnny freaks in the movie and doesnt care as much in the story. THe Jones scene is confusing in the story and striaght forward in the movie.

Johnny Mnemonic
Johnny Mnemonic ---->>>
The scene where he gets the upload is very strange. It is a great test of Reeve's acting skills... The slow-mo shoot out is pretty fantastic as well. "Next time knock, Baldy"
The girl and "girl" body guards have really intense makeup.
"we've got all night a**hole" the previous scene was so dumb because if you were being held at gunpoint there is no way that the person with the gun would allow you to check your watch.
That is very very sad that Johnny can not remember his childhood and his parents even though he hated it. "i NEED a COMPUTER" he is very intense. I want some gloves like the ones he is wearing to control the computer. They use things like that no making animated movies. I would really want to play with them for a week or two and just be goofy.
Also, everyone talks on phones that also have a video component. That would be pretty cool. i guess its like having a webcam but cooler.
Everyone has ceisures in this movie. A.k.a. the black shake.

i really dont think i like this movie at all. sci fi movies arent my thing. im giving this movie a shot though. What actress plays the female lead?
The hit man is such a psyco. he seriously pseudo crucified a man. i believe the correct term would be pseudo crucify. who cares what its called- its freaking wierd and freaky.
so johnnys memory contains the cure to a disease and that is why everyone is chasing him and trying to chop his head off.
The freak outs caused by the memory overload are kind of cool looking. The graphics i dont understand how they contain the cure for a disease but whats fine. i also dont understand why everything takes place in such sketchy old desertated warehouses. Thats just asking for a tetinus shot.
Its a huge relief that the Jesus Serial Killer is dead now. I really didnt like him. its ironic that some on the senior class is on Kairos and we are watching a movie with a messed up view of priests in it while they are gone.

I dont like anime and the download scene is totaly proof of it. The images are so strange and i dont like them. I only like the colors so reflective they are and full of light.
